The Other Side

Since posting the completed Romantic eating area, ive received a few emails asking about the other side of the room.....I purposely didnt include the china cabinet, as i hadnt put the glass back in it after painting and i still am not happy with the knobs.....So i got right on it and put the glass back in , but ile keep on the hunt for the right knobs.............just thought u may wanna see "the other side" of the room. I origionally moved "Elizabeth" to this corner to make room for the Christmas tree..Today, i know, late right, lol, im just gettin around to putting some things back the way they were. I think i wont move her back though, i like here here, i have something else planned for the other side of the buffet......

Another Cheater's Meal

It's about time for another one of my "No granite counter tops required" fast, easy cheatin' meals......I dont get off work til 7pm most nights, so fast, tasty meals are a must round here..This one is so yummy, that it doenst even have a name, everyone here simply ask that i make that "chicken stuff". I know what they mean, LOL...So here goes, of course u know i always start with the freshest ingredients possible....Fresh boneless, skinless chicken breast(1-2 lbs) , cubed. Fresh broccoli , garlic, onion, and sun-dried tomatoes. Ule also need a pack of cheaters Alfredo sauce...and pasta

In a medium saucepan saute (med to high heat) the onion and garlic in a wee bit of cooking oil...

Ahhhhh, can u smell this? Truly the way many great meals begin....When the onions are transparent add the chicken..Seer it, then turn down the heat, and add the broccoli and tomatoes.

Cover and let simmer til the broccoli is tender...follow the directions on the Alfredo sauce while the pasta is cooking....pour the thickened sauce over the chicken, drain and mix in the pasta...Plate it........sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan cheese....

Add alittle romance and ur done.............nite all, Bonnie

A Sunny Place to lounge..

I was in picture taking mode today....so i thought ide share a few of the newly finished dining room space. It's so much more than a dining room to us. My niece and I have come to love sharing time here. Just laying "head to head" with a book or having a long chat...Im proud of all the rooms in my home and this one is no different, its come such a long way from what it use to be, and is all that i wanted it to be now......Enjoy the photos..........Bonnie
