Ah, another "Newbie Party", thanks Debbie! Alittle time in the "Nook" , all by myself, just me , a good book and a cup of coffee.....................The best Valentines Day present ever!

Im so excited, Penny, my seamstress , just finished sewing the canopy for my reading nook last week. I just got it hung. It also was made from the same lace that was used for the burlap pillow ruffle. The top portion is an old lamp shade that i found and tore off the rotton and tattered silk, then sprayed the "frame" white.  This is the best spot in the house to curl up with a book! I hope u all enjoy it as much as i do. I had so much fun putting it together.

A gift from my sister

This old doll dress has been through heck.........The doll which it belonged to was crushed in an accident.........But her dress, socks and shoes were recovered. My sweet sister just knew how much ide love them. I havent quite figured out exactly where ill put it yet........Enjoy!

Hi all, today im linking to "White Wednesday" with the warmest white-est thing that God gave us, and that is sunshine. I just love the way the sun pours in thru my bedroom window in the morning. Even my kitty "Gurl" loves basking in the sun..............Its a beautiful day here in Fl. I wish u all lots of sunshine!

Newbie Party

New drapes

Ok , this morning, ive been doing nothing except playing around in the dining room. Still nowhere near finished, but im quite excited to bring u the lastest update. I still have to paint the crown moulding, but i couldnt resist showing u the new curtains...........my seamstress altered the curtains, as all of the shabby chic ones are too short to hang from floor to ceiling........She hasnt touched the british rose ones yet. I know, thats obvious, lol. So im taking votes on which patten looks the best in the room........everyone have a great weekend!

Almost there.....

Hi all my fellow bloggers, ive missed my computer so much this week. But its simply amazing how much i can get done when i get my but off it. Finally got it back today , and just in time for Transformation Thursday! Ive really been wanting to share my dining room with everyone, so i hope u all enjoy it. I still have some work to do though, i still need to paint the table, get all the stuff back into the china cabinet,  and hang some window treatments.......Well, yall get it, at least u can get a feel for what  direction its headed.....This past weekend while i was computerless(is that a word, lol?) i finished painting the ceiling and Richard hung the new(old) chandy. This weekend im shooting for finishing up the china cabinet.
