Havin some fun....

Just havin alittle fun with the camera.........when i realized that i dont show many pics of myself.....so here are a few, so that all my blogger friends can see what the heck i look like, lol......We had so much fun doin this......

Taylor is such a hoot, we simply couldnt stop laughing! Today was such a good day.....im really gonna miss her.........

Slowly, but surely

While some around here have time to just lay around, i can barely seem to catch my breath...So alot is happening here, Taylor is makin plans to move with her BFF and Michael will be coming home in about three weeks. So a change of plans is in order. Im so sad that my "minnie me" will be moving out soon, but at the same time im super excited that my eldest will be coming home for awhile........so now the room at the end of the hall goes from a "French Boo dwa" to a "French Bach lure pad"......Still working on the floor, meanwhile Mr. Romantic decided that all the baseboards needed changing out, thus moving up my reveal time...Ok, break time is over, lol....but this working Mom will get it done "Slowly but Surely"!

Oooooooh La La

While spending the day in St. Augustine yesterday and perusing all of my favorite antique stores i ran across a few things that i simply couldnt live without!.....I figured since ile be finished with Taylor's room next weekend, i could take on a few more projects and really now, neither of these are a "project" since i happen to love them just the way i found them...........When a piece starts out like this, there's simply no resisting...I love, love, love all things french........

I simply cannot wait to show all of u how i incorporate this piece into my front room! Brace urselves for the next find.........Its so shabby, and will be going in the same room as the french table...

Right now its propped in the garage so please forgive the mess......

Isn't it so shabby yummy? There is only one more awesome find, but i think im gonna wait and show u that one when this room is finished.....Bonnie

My "Dirty Little Secret"

Well, it isnt literly dirty, lol. I do clean it regularly....This is simply my first post of my kitchen.  Not very Romantic hugh?.......These darn roosters have taken over. I used to love um so much, now, not so much.....Hubby and i plan a "mini makeover" in here before summer. I thought my friends would enjoy seeing it in all its rooster glory..The makeover will include removing the border and painting the walls, a new chandy, new knobs for the cabinets, which i plan on shabby-ing up a bit more, new curtains, possibly new countertops, and saying bye bye to most of the roosters. A few of them are precious to me, and a few are valuable pieces, so ile have to make them work in the new decor..........

These are limited edition prints, keeper for sure, but ile have to do something with the frames.....

This guy is an old "TV light", so he's a keeper too.

This lil guy is an old Avon bottle, he's fun and one of my favorites..........

This one will also be staying, he's very old, and ive never seen another like him........

This one over the door frame..........he's outta here!

Last, but not least, this guy will be staying, he has a hole all the way thru him, i believe he was a lamp in a past life, lol.....Maybe he will be again?

The eating area where they all look down at u.....Im keeping the shelf.......just not all the darn roosters on it........

Vanity-Another Chapter in Taylor's room

Just alil something i picked up for Taylor's room.....I think it quite unique and she loves it!....Im not gonna leave it this way however. Those of u who know me, know i rarely leave anything the way i bought it. Im spraying it tomorrow, so ule have to come back...lol. The finish is a very dull gray, its not as black as it looks in the pics.....Bet cha cant wait to see the color......well, ule just have to come back tomorrow. As for that ugly floor, i think ile be doing alil something from my past ..........Enjoy the pics and dont forget to stop by my next post.

Ya'll know ive been so busy, tryin to get Taylor's room done, my sweet niece whose recently come to live with us...I still have the floor to tackle, however the art piece is done! Forgive me though, i still havent hung it on the wall..........Imma go get on that right now!
