Guest room Chandy

It's been a hard days night, and i been workin like a dog...ha, ha..............any way stick a fork in me, at least until tomorrow that is..Here's the chandelier as promised. I had these flowers just layin around so i thought ide play with them on the chandy...

 Im so happy with the way it turned out...My little guest room is coming right along...now if i can just finish painting the door, LOL..Thanks for stopping and sharing in this simple little project with me....Bonnie

Slowly, but surely

While some around here have time to just lay around, i can barely seem to catch my breath...So alot is happening here, Taylor is makin plans to move with her BFF and Michael will be coming home in about three weeks. So a change of plans is in order. Im so sad that my "minnie me" will be moving out soon, but at the same time im super excited that my eldest will be coming home for awhile........so now the room at the end of the hall goes from a "French Boo dwa" to a "French Bach lure pad"......Still working on the floor, meanwhile Mr. Romantic decided that all the baseboards needed changing out, thus moving up my reveal time...Ok, break time is over, lol....but this working Mom will get it done "Slowly but Surely"!

A Sunny Place to lounge..

I was in picture taking mode today....so i thought ide share a few of the newly finished dining room space. It's so much more than a dining room to us. My niece and I have come to love sharing time here. Just laying "head to head" with a book or having a long chat...Im proud of all the rooms in my home and this one is no different, its come such a long way from what it use to be, and is all that i wanted it to be now......Enjoy the photos..........Bonnie

Problem solved.......

As u all know, im busy re-doing the dining room. Ive finished the table and chairs, bought the benches , however the slipcovers for them arent quite finished. Penny came by today to do some measuring , and dropped off my new window treatment. U can see my dilema with the window here and get a glimpse of the table here. Im really happy with the way its all coming together so far. Penny really rocked this ballon shade though......

I know, thats probably overkill on the pics, but i was just tickled pink and giddy with the outcome........slipcovers coming soon!

After Dark

While im busy working on projects i thought ide post a little romantic "eye candy" from my favorite room in the house.........I fall in love again and again and again with this room.........so many romantic moments are shared here.

Most everything in this room was done by me and my romantic better half. From the painting of the stripes on the walls, the painted furniture, and the hanging of the artwork, all done for the sake of 2 people hopelessly in love with each other........
